Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to batscout.com and to the social publishing application distributed by BatScout on third-party platforms, including the TikTok application “PostingMonster”. Operated by a company registered in the Republic of Armenia.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using batscout.com, our analytical tools, or any application we publish on a third-party platform (including the TikTok application “PostingMonster”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

BatScout is a B2B data-intelligence and publishing platform. It (a) aggregates publicly available business information — company names, websites, publicly listed professional contact details, job listings and market signals — and produces analytics and AI-generated reports from that data, and (b) provides a publishing tool that lets an authorised user compose and schedule their own content for social networks the user has connected (such as TikTok, X, YouTube and Pinterest) through the official APIs of those platforms.

3. Accounts, Plans and Security

• You must provide accurate registration information and be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required by the connected platform, whichever is higher.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Plans and features may change; plan changes are handled on request.

4. Third-Party Platforms and Integrations

When you connect a social account (for example your TikTok account through the “PostingMonster” application), the following applies:

• You must own or be authorised to manage the connected account and you must comply with that platform’s own terms, developer terms, community guidelines and advertising rules. Your use of TikTok remains governed by TikTok’s Terms of Service.
• We act only on your instruction. We never publish, schedule or modify content on your account without an action (or a schedule) you configured in the app, and we never use your account to follow, like, comment, message or engage with other users.
• The app requests only the permissions needed to publish the content you provide (basic profile information and the ability to upload/publish a video). Details of what is received and stored are in our Privacy Policy.
• You can revoke our access at any time from the connected platform’s settings (for TikTok: Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions) or by writing to us; we then stop posting and delete the stored access tokens.
• You are solely responsible for the content you publish, including that you hold all necessary rights to it and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate platform rules.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, X Corp., Google/YouTube, Pinterest or any other platform. All third-party names and marks belong to their owners.
• Third-party APIs may change, be rate-limited or be withdrawn; we do not guarantee that a given platform will remain available in the app.

5. Use of Data

• We collect information from public sources and do not bypass login walls, security measures, or non-public systems.
• You are responsible for how you use the contacts and data you obtain through BatScout, and for complying with applicable laws (data-protection, anti-spam, and email-marketing rules) in the jurisdiction where you operate.
• We are an information platform; we do not sell or broker personal data belonging to identifiable private individuals.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk email (spam), to post spam or repetitive/duplicative content, or to run artificial engagement, follower, like or comment automation.
• Do not use the service to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Do not scrape, mirror, or resell BatScout data or the service itself.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or to other users’ accounts.

7. Intellectual Property

BatScout software, design and original content are owned by BatScout. Content you publish remains yours; you grant us only the technical permission needed to transmit it to the platform you have connected. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

8. Availability and Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Data may be incomplete or become outdated, and third-party platform availability is outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatScout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost content, or the suspension of a third-party platform account. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. You agree to indemnify and hold BatScout harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, from the content you publish, or from your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or of a connected platform’s rules. You may stop using the service at any time; on request we will delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The version published on this page, with its “last updated” date, is the effective one; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
